Very nice beach steps away.

Family vibe not good for solo travelers. Bad restaurant with limited options on rather quiet part of island.

Very cool jungle vibe and a short walk to the beach. The staff were amazing - helped me find a doctor when I got sick, booked us motor bikes, and were super friendly.

Nice mid range place 5min by walk to the beach, ok room, comfortable bed, good restaurant.

This place was wonderful! The resort is lovely and incredibly well kept with a delicious coffee bar and restaurant. The staff was very kind and the hotel is very peaceful. The location couldn’t be better with it being 5 min walk from the beach, restaurants and even a clinic. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Ko lanta

This was our second time at the Lanta Pearl resort. We love it and will go back.

It was high season, so a little pricey.

The staff was exceptional and made you feel at home. Jimmy and Suun Suun are so great at making you feel welcome. The rooms were nice and spacious. The location was great, just steps away from the beach. The resort can provide anything you need - motorbikes, tours, laundry - without upcharging you.

We had an enjoyable stay at Lanta Pearl Beach Resort. The bungalow was a good size and the bed was comfy. The bathroom had everything we needed and decent shower pressure. The staff were nice and it was convenient to have a restaurant on site. The property is super close to the beach, and also has a nice pool. It is also within walking distance of a couple mini marts and several restaurants along the main road. We didn't end up using the pool because it rained while we were there, but the pool did look nice.

In part, I am being a bit more picky in this review because I felt a bit misled about this property based on the glowing reviews it has received from others on this site previously. We were satisfied with our stay and certainly understand the appeal of this property, but overall felt it didn't live up to the high ratings it received on websites such as this one.The safe in the room malfunctioned when we first arrived due to being on low on batteries - however, the staff were able to help us fix it right away, and it did not malfunction again. That said, I felt the battery level could have been checked prior to our arrival - as you can imagine, it's disconcerting to have your valuables locked in a box that you can't open! The number 3 on the lock pad didn't work at all throughout our stay, even with the battery changed, though this wasn't a big issue as we could simply choose a password without that number.There were no bedside tables in the room, which was a bit inconvenient as we had to put our things on the ground overnight. As well, only one side of the bed had an outlet.The bathroom isn't the nicest - it's all tiled in black and there are two ledges - one from the toilet area to the sink area and one from the shower area to the sink area. I managed to stub my toes on these multiple times.The door to our bungalow had a small gap even when the door was closed, so there were some mosquitoes in the room. We also had to keep the door to the bathroom closed because there were some holes in the screens that allowed some mosquitoes in.

The pool is small but nice and it’s very close to the beach. The floors and bathroom were kept clean.

This place is very funky... not in a good way. The pictures and reviews make it seem much nicer than it is. I was in a “family room” so I’m not sure if that room is much less nice, but there were dead bugs smeared on the walls and the interior is ugly and gross. The walls and furniture look filthy. Also, the twin size bed is very uncomfortable. The towels and sheets smell strongly of mildew. The beach towels are ratty and look like rags. Not worth the money. The outlets also are super oddly positioned and so high up that my adult friend could not reach them… they also make your chargers turn very hot. Also lots of bugs and mosquitos everywhere, including inside the room/ beds. I would not recommend staying here.

Amazing staff big shout out to Jimmy and Suun Suun who were delightful and great hosts.

Not much I didn't like

Literally everything about the Lanta Pearl Beach Resort was 10/10! We can’t say enough good things about it! Our room was amazing, the resort was beautiful, the beach is a short distance away. We ate at the restaurant every day because it was so good! All of the staff were so nice and accommodating. Our bartenders Suun-Suun, Jimmy, and Jojo are the nicest people we’ve ever met! They took the time to learn our names and all about us. We truly felt at home here.

Absolutely nothing to complain about!

The staff was really helpful in advices for our activities/transport and special mention for Jimmy and Zounzoun who were already entertaining and attentive to each member of our family when we were in the resort. The location is also great as it is walkable to Long Beach!

Third year coming back to the Lanta Pearl. Consistently a good place to spend a few days on the island.

Might be time to consider a kids pool and an adult pool. The pool was packed with kids! The kitchen staff could be more careful preparing and platings their food. We found a rubber band in one of our dishes. Not the end of the world, but at the same time not a pleasant discovery.

Beautiful grounds. Super friendly fun staff. Amazing coffee, smoothies breakfast. A great place to book tours from they make it really easy. Definitely resort vibe very family friendly. 2 min to the beach. We came back for another night before we left.

Very close to the beach. The room was spacious and very clean. Loved getting fresh water bottles daily. The grounds were well kept and it was lovely being amongst the trees. The little porch was a great place to sit in the AM with my coffee.

Quite a small pool and always full so we didn’t get a chance to use it. But the beach was close and we rather go there anyway so I wouldn’t really say that was a negative!

It was a quaint property with cute bungalows nestled in a garden setting each with a hammock on the porch. There was a decent restaurant on site with two bars. Only one block from the beach which has tons of restaurants and other places to hang out. We visited many of the other beaches on the island and this was definitely our favorite. The bungalow was very clean and serviced each day. The staff worked hard to know our names, they were absolutely wonderful. We were able to book tours, rent a motorcycle, arrange transport from the airport, and also boat to our next destination all through the hotel and on our hotel bill which was awesome! So accommodating! Excellent bar, the guys there really made our trip great.

Great location near the beach, good restaurant, friendly staff, very clean, tons of greenery/trees, nice bungalows.

The wifi didn’t work inside the room - had to go to the restaurant. Pool was a little cloudy the first day or two we were there.

Great location. It was a lot of fun to walk down the beach to little restaurants and bars and watch the fire shows at night. Everything was very clean. Everybody was very friendly.

Too many kids at the pool

The individual little bungalows were clean and spacious. The restaurant served amazing food at very reasonable prices. The pool was lovely - it was very small though so in high season I think it would be far too small for the amount of people. The beach was beautiful but quite tough waves. The staff were all so lovely and kind and welcoming - huge shout out to Junior at the bar - he made our evenings there - his banter, fab music and super bar and cocktail skills.

The pool bar was not open due to it being low season and there was absolutely nothing open - no minimart/varsity etc on the streets - there was one beach bar but that was it - luckily the hotel is so lovely you can spend all your time there. We were there for four days / that was plenty as there was nothing else to do but stay in the hotel or in the beach.
